New Complete Steel Body Tub Kit with “WILLYS” stamping – Part#: DMC693197
Q: Are the tailgate and hood stamped Willys?
- A: Yes that is correct.
Q: IS THE GRILL ALSO STAMPED?
- A: We do carry stamped grilles as well.
Q: Can you advise if the toolbox is under the passenger seat and is it stamped “JEEP” on the front of the tool box? Also is the fuel filler neck in the drivers side of the body. I know the early versions were about 1 1/2 inch off on the transmission opening, MD Juan says their newest version has this corrected. Is this the latest version from MD Juan?
- A: The tool bin is less the “jeep” stamp. The filler neck is on the body yes. These are the updated ones. The ‘Willys’ stamping will be on the hood and tailgate.
Q: What kit do I need to mount a new body?
- A: There are a number of options. Please call me toll free. I’m more than happy to help out.
Q: CAN I PUT YOUR CJ-3B BODY ON A 1963 CJ-5 FRAME? LOOKS TO ME LIKE IT WILL WORK, WHAT DO YOU THINK? ALSO, I NEED A SOLID TAIL GATE 1973 CJ-5 BODY. CAN YOU SUPPLY? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR REPLY AND GOD BLESS!!
- A: I’m sure it would work with some modification. They have a 3.5″ different wheelbase. Please call us toll free. We are more than happy to help out.
Q: Do they come in right hand body tub?
- A: These are all left hand drive.
Q: In the picture the dash is not precut for gauges, is the picture correct or do the holes come precut?
- A: That is correct, you have to cut your holes out. Early and late CJ-3B’s used different dash configurations.

My son purchased a body tub for me for my birthday, I was amazed at the completeness, and quality. I later ordered the B10331 Fuel tank insulator kit, it arrived ok before christmas, my thanks to you for your shipping it so promptly. My problem is that I have no indication on where the insulator strips are to be located. Unfortunately the old tub has no indication of where they were originally located. When I started this jeep restoration from a pile of parts, there was no fuel tank,I traded for the one I have. Can you send me a drawing or picture showing where the strips are to be located? Thank you in advance. Jerry Norman
