This is my 1952 Willys 4-73 pickup truck. The thing has been through hell and back being used as a work truck here in Sweden at a brewery, in a quarry, in the woods, pulling all kinds of stuff over the years. The old-timers used to have a hydraulic crane behind the cab and a Perkins diesel from a combine under the hood. These pictures are from 2020 when I started driving it with a fresh coat of paint after sitting since the mid 90’s.
Still got the mechanical, PTO-driven army truck-winch in the front. The bedsides come from a WW2 Bantam Trailer. The truck is currently being modified once again. This time it is getting a 6.2 liter Chevrolet Diesel, SM465 transmission, axle flip and 37″ tires. And of course, I will be keeping the “old beat up work truck” look.
