Meet Tom and Nate, a passionate team from Massachusetts, and their fully rebuilt 1964 FC-150 Willys Truck, affectionately known as ‘Sparky’ — the first team to officially represent Kaiser Willys Auto Supply in the 2025 Epic Willys Adventure: The Great Mitten Race!
🔧 About the Team
Tom brings years of mechanical experience and a background in tech, now fully devoted to classic vehicle restoration. Calm and methodical, he’s the brains behind Sparky’s rebuild.
Nate, younger and full of grit, has a background in off-road adventure travel. He’s all about energy, hands-on repairs, and keeping spirits high through long, rugged miles.
🚒 About Sparky
Originally a plow truck for the New York Fire Department, Sparky was later owned by the very mechanic who kept it running—until it was purchased by Tom Moses. Since then, Sparky has undergone a total transformation, including a rebuilt engine, overhauled suspension, restored cabin, and countless rally-ready upgrades—all done by Tom and Nate themselves.
