I bought (2) M38A1’s from a gentleman, one had a good engine and drivetrain and a not so good body and the other had a good body but a not so good drivetrain. I kept the one with the good body and sold the other one. It is a 24 volt system, correct engine and transmission and transfer case, seating is original and I did my best to restore it the way it should be. It took me 14 months and over 1,000 hours to restore it. It drives wonderfully and I have entered it in last years Veterns Day Parade in Newnan, GA….
