564: Brent Herzberger’s Willys M38

I purchased this project two years ago and first got it on the road this last Memorial Day, which I thought was fitting! I am an Active Duty Army Range Operations NCO assigned to Camp James A. Garfield and have over 30 years of military service. Army vehicles are in my nature for sure. I have driven my restored M38 out to work and put her to work. It is definitely rewarding enjoying a finished project and am thankful for the grateful compliments and Kaiser Willys for providing a lot of my parts to restore this old war horse!

  1. Very nice looking M38 Brent. Just wondering what year it is. I just acquired one with some of the same features, wipers on the bottom of the windshield, shovel & axe on the starboard side because the gas fill tube is on the port, and hole on the starboard side of the hood for the extended air cleaner inlet.
