This is my 1943 Ford GPW. The wife bought it for my 66 birthday, so I would have no time for a midlife fling. Sometimes she lets me drive!

Hi guys, love the story’s on the blog I have a 1943 Ford GPW EX U.S Marines Military Police 738 Battalion Base Section 3 Based in Townsville Queensland Australia during WW2 it has matching chassis and engine numbers 127179 hood numbers 20390738 has lots of period accessories : jack,crank handle first aid kit, grease gun under hood, foot pump, axe and shovel, canvas windshield cover headlight covers siren , m1 carbine rack canvas water bucket jerry can I have had the Jeep around 5years, the canvas hood has theFord logo and part number still on it l have a N.O.S radio base and antenna fitted also the original Denman Military Brand Tyres (Spare never used) I have signed up with the Wills blog and have attached photos with them to check out and view. Love the photos that you guys put up Best regards Bill from down under
