527: Alan Starr’s 1948 Willys CJ-2A

I purchased this Willys CJ-2A six years ago and have enjoyed bringing her back to life with a fresh engine rebuild and refurbished running gear. Thanks for all the information I have received on my project. It has stock running gear, upgraded front disc brakes and a restored tub.

  1. Disc brakes are not a good choice for off roading because htey are open to the dirt. Proper adjusting of the original or the addition of a booster will do the same thing. Like a hydravac. The specialty houses in denver used them and they worked just fine.
