325: Justin Zabel’s 1952 Willys CJ-3A
Here are some shots of our finished ’52 Willys parked along with our North American AT6 WW2 plane. Thought it was a good example of good ‘ol American made simple machines and were both manufactured around the same time 1952 and 1949.

Very Cool…!!!!
Nice job! I, too, have a ’52 sitting in the driveway waiting for a restore. It’s been in my family since the 50s and I learned to drive in it. Hopefully I can start on it this year.
Wow! Congrats on some excellent work! I’m a retired military pilot of helicopters having driven them for the Army for thirty years or so. Started in Vietnam and such. Your Jeep is spectacular and appears that you have maintained a “legend” such as you have done with your airplane. Thanks for sharing. Joe Stokes, Idaho Falls
PS – My Mom was an airplane mechanic in WWII and I still drive the CJ-2A Mom and Dad bought when I was three!
