190: William Brooks’ 1958 Willys CJ-5
My Jeep is a 1958 CJ-5 that I acquired about 2 years ago. It is not original but has a Buick 225 v6 and a Muncie sm420 tranny. It also has a power take off winch, on board compressor and larger tires. I recently fixed the front fenders and grill which were about to fall off and painted the camo paint and installed the higher seats. The gas tank is a 22 gal rectangular tank that’s sits between the inner fenders in the back.

Awesome CJ5 – you did an all-pro job on it.
I’m going to do something similar to my 62 CJ5 to get it ready to go to the woods. Can you tell me where I can find info on those seats? My originals are about to fall apart.
Thanks,
Chris

It looks like your CJ5 is actually a M37A1.
