Carolyn Parker's 1962 Willys Truck

065: Carolyn Parker’s 1962 Willys Truck

This is my 1962 Willys Truck that was just painted this summer using the original color of metallic forest green.  In this truck’s previous life, it served on a resort in northern Wisconsin.  We acquired it at the resort auction in 1998.  Currently it is used to plow snow out of our one mile driveway and to go into the woods for firewood.  It causes quite a sensation when it is taken to town.Carolyn Parker's 1962 Willys Truck

  1. I have the little brother to your truck. I have a 67 cj 5 same color and ours is at a resort in northern MN. People gather round when I take it to the general store to pick up stuff for the resort. Glad to see you did it yourself! two thumbs up!

  3. This color is similar to what my ’68 Commando is being repainted. Beautiful. Be sure to wear a dust mask anytime you sand or spray.
