Cal Pangburn's CJ-3A Jeep

055: Cal Pangburn’s  CJ-3A Jeep

I’m in the process of making this Jeep into a Ford. As I get the Ford parts I put them on or save them until I can. It has a Ford frame and Ford motor (most of it) and part of the body is Ford. I have the Ford front and back rear ends and the trans and transfer that I am in the process of rebuilding and then they will go in it.

I should have taken pictures when I first got this as it was sitting behind a barn in a pile of weeds. You couldn’t see the rear ends as they were completely sunk down into the frozen ground and about all that wasn’t rusted away was the dash the left front fender and part of the tub. It took two other Jeeps to get to this point. But man was it fun. When I brought it home my girlfriend asked me what I was going to do with that junk now she likes riding in it and can’t believe it’s the same Jeep.

  1. Stay with the girlfriend and stay with the Jeep/Ford project too.
Maybe you can keep her interested in riding then teach her to drive it.
Very good possibility of His and Hers Jeeps in your future.

    Good Luck
