054: Ben Brantley’s 1951 Willys Station Wagon
This is my 1951 Utility Station Wagon 4wheel drive. Chevy 350, 700r4 tranny and Chevy Tahoe transfer case. The axles are from an International Scout. All the rust has been cut out and replaced. The dash has been customized along with the interior.

It is a blast to drive. My 5 year old son thinks it is cool to ride in and my 20 month old daughter cries if I don’t take her for a ride.

It is truly the best family vehicle and the all time greatest SUV!

How did you put the Scout axles on the Willys frame? How does it handle on the highway? I have a ’55 Willys wagon and ’77 Scout frame and drive train, but don’t know how to make the swap. I would like to put a 4.3 Chevy V6, turbo 350, with Scout axles. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lance
