Kent Khuan's Navy Jeep

051: Kent Khuen’s Navy Jeep

This jeep is a no later than a 1951 frame with a 1959 DJ tub. Only one half of one brake was working when I got the Jeep Nov 2010. Everything works now. Pictures show some of the work. I did all the work myself except the painting. It is now a Navy Jeep.

  1. Great job! I am restoring a 1963 M38 A-1 to a Navy Jeep. I would love to see some more pictures if you could. I am especially interested in some pictures of the engine to figure out how to paint everything under the hood.
    Thanks

  3. I have not done anything to my engine conpartment. The engine is red. I wish this cj could talk so I could find out where it has been. A friend of mine picked it up in
griffin Ga. That person picked it up in the North West some where. I drove my first jeep in 1949 at the age of 10 on our farm. That jeep was a farm jeep with all the equipment. We had it 4 years.
