I have never restored anything in my life until now. My dad alway 

talked about doing a Willys restoration but never got to it. I finally 

bit the bullet and purchased, according to the ad, a ” ’42 CJ2A ” 

(whatever that is) . Turns out it is a ’47 CJ2A body on a ’42 MB 

frame. But I don’t care. I love it either way. I’ve just got the frame 

finished and anticipate being done after 3 years of weekends. My end 

goal is to have a nice Sunday driver with an MB look.
