1: Hood Removal
To remove the hood from your jeep, begin by unfastening the hood latches on the left and right sides of the vehicle. Raise the hood carefully and allow it rest against the windshield assembly. Next, unbolt the hood hinge from the cowl of the tub with the appropriate wrench or socket. Then, slowly lower the hood back to its closed position, finally lifting the hood away from the body of the vehicle. Picking the hood up by yourself may be cumbersome, so ask someone to lend you a hand. Lastly, remove the weatherstrip and any other debris from the cowl of the jeep.
2: Windshield Assembly Removal
Release the windshield frame assembly by unbolting or removing any attaching hardware. Pivot the windshield forward and remove it along with any other windshield assembly parts, taking special care not to damage the windshield glass.
3: Headlight Removal
To remove the passenger or drivers side headlight assembly, disconnect any electrical wiring from the headlights. Then, remove the mounting hardware connecting the headlight bracket to the grill and fender. Carefully remove the headlight assembly from the engine compartment.
4: Fender and Grille Removal
To remove the fenders from your jeep, first disconnect any wiring or parts attached to the passenger or drivers side fenders. Next, unbolt and remove the hood catches from each fender. Finally, unbolt each fender from the frame, grille and cowl side panels and remove. To detach the grille, simply unbolt it from the mounting brackets and remove.

How about some more advanced mechanics like how to remove the front differential or disassemble it or how to set the valve clearances on the F-134.

At the current time, we are focusing the series on our project vehicle (which has the 4-134 L Head), and we are in the process of completing the disassembly video series, which will be followed by a complete “Rebuild” series.
