This Willys has been in my family for nearly 50 years. My grandfather bought it from his daughter-in-law’s father years ago. It had been painted white and was very ran down. It was very weathered to say the least. So he had it at his place for years and years. You know how projects go haha. When I was just a kid (I’m 33 now) I remember going to my grandparents house and heading straight out back to the Army Jeep!! I don’t know how many hours I spent playing in that Ol Jeep. He started restoring the Jeep I’d say 12-15 years ago, he flew right through it! Now he kinda liked the old rough Jeep look so it’s not show room quality, but that was his plan. Sadly he passed away 5 years ago. He was So proud of The Jeep and at the same time I am too! I have recently inherited it. The numbers on the hood were my grandpas registration number.
