460: Craig Johnson’s 1957 Willys Truck

This Willys Truck was purchased pretty much as you see it. I have done some work to fix the overdrive, some electrical and other cosmetic fixes. It has the original 226 Super Hurricane.

  1. Are you the Craig Johnson of Ucross, population 25? I am a fan, if that’s you. Either way I really like the pickup, too.

  3. If you are that Craig Johnson, I’m a fan, too. Also, I like the pickup. I have owned two Jeeps; a 1957 2wd wagon in 1960-61, and my present 1952 M38A1, still O.D. green, and with the markings of my old unit, 2nd Bn, 61st Inf, 5th Inf Div., pre-Viet Nam. I drive it to the woods in deer season, and in the local Christmas parade, and anywhere else I feel like taking the old girl. I also have a correct matching trailer. Great old vehicle!
