429: My 1953 Willys Station Wagon was originally bought from an Illinois family and later went to be restored in upper state New York. It had been in a barn for over 20 years after a father and son started the restoration. It was sold to a fella in York PA and I purchased it from him knowing it needed a lot of attention especially with the engine and manual transmission. The Wagon was repainted 20 years ago but the engine and manual transmission needed a lot of work. I entered it in the 2018 Butler Bantam Jeep Festival and it took a second place in the category 6 Class. I believe this is where the Jeep was originally made.. in Butler, Pennsylvania.

  1. Nice job on the restoration. I also attended the jeep fest in butler. It is where the bantam originated, he predecessor to the jeep. I would like to see the Toledo jeep fest next, and hope there is a sswap met there also.

  3. Very Nice.
I am not looking for the Woodie style but a bit later. Would like to find something at least running, if not drivable to start work on. Willis Wagon. Something to use around Town/farm while I get ready to do the interior exterior.
