M38a1’s don’t have tailgates & tail lights are usually more towards the bottom. Also it’s missing the indentation behind the passenger side fender. M38a1 dont have front mounted leaf spring shackles. The headlights also don’t look recessed to me.
Don’t let the split windshieeld fool you. You can easily fit M38a1 windshield frame on cj5’s, just as easy as using two pieces of glass, with the M38a1 rubber seal, on your cj5 frame.
That looks like an undercover CJ5 to me.
