386: Fazal Adil’s 1961 Willys CJ-3B
This is my 1961 Willys CJ-3B. Since the original tub had corroded, I got a new one, hand fabricated, eliminated the rear tailgate, and converted it to right hand drive. The CJ-3B was converted from gasoline to diesel.
Power plant: Peugeot XD3P, 4 inline, 2.5 liter.
Transmission: KMT90.
Transfer case: T19
Differentials: Dana 44.
Front: Disc brakes.
Rear: LSD.
Upgrades: Power Steering, snorkel, seats, rollcage (doubles up as soft top frame), wheel and tire size. The Jeep was built in Hyderabad, India.
