Transfercase Mounted Emergency Brake Operating Lever – Part#: A17254

Q: This lever is the only thing left on my 46 CJ-2A. What would be the price on getting every thing from backing plate out. Pull handle springs and all.

  • A: Sure. We have complete set ups. Please call us toll free.

Q: Do you have a drawing of the emergency brake system for 1952 CJ-3A Willys Jeep?

  • A: Please call us toll free. I may be able to help out.

Q: Along with the emergency brake lever I am also needing the internal brake lever, the emergency brake cable link, and the brake actuating cam. Do you also sell these parts…. new or used?

  • A: We can get you most of this good used as well. Please call us toll free.

Q: I need the transfer case lever for an M38A1 but the photo you provide does not appear to be correct per my parts illustration. Someone has removed all my emergency brake components and I will need other parts from you to complete but I wanted to clear this question first.

  • A: We can help you with the rod set up on the A1. Please call us toll free.

Q: I have a 62 year CJ-5 and would need the emergency brake lever (at transfercase) cod. A17254, are they available?

  • A: We have good used ones right now.

Q: ’49 3A. I have a cracked “rear cap” #A-9330 if I am reading the parts manual correctly. It is the housing that the E brake backing plate bolts to and then it bolts to the transfer case. The post for the E brake lever comes out of the bottom of it. Do you sell these new or used, or, can you tell me what it is made of such that I might research having it repaired? The E brake functions fine but the shaft that the E brake lever attaches to is at a slight angle and I suppose could get worse.

  • A: We can get these good used. Please call us toll free. You may be able to weld it but it depends on the crack.

Q: I am looking to install an emergency brake (hand brake) system on a 1952 M38-A1 which I am purchasing and the cable has been installed from the rear brakes up to the underside of the transmission. Do you sell the components that would allow me to pick up from this cable end and install a mountable lever inside the cab? It looks like this item A17254 would be one of them along with the cable clevis below.

  • A: You should have transfercase mounted emergency brakes… Please call us toll free. Hopefully we can ID what someone has done and help you out.

Q: I would like to request for a quote… Country Brazil.

  • A: Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and we can quote you out. Please include your full shipping address and part numbers you require.

Q: I have a 53 CJ-3A with Dana 18 transfer case. There is NO emergency brake assembly at all. Do you sell an entire e-brake kit that includes the mounting bracket and all the necessary components????
