Pam Barrett's 1949 Willys Jeepster

218: Pam Barrett’s 1949 Willys Jeepster

This 1949 Willys Jeepster was rebuilt and restored by Graham Beck in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England – it has been great to be able to purchase parts from Kaiser Willy’s (thank you). Graham has also restored a 1945 Willys Military Jeep and a 1946 CJ-2A Boyer Fire Engine here in Grantham.

Just found this page and love the Militarized Jeepster. I have photos of Chinese Nationalist General Chiang Kai-Shek inspecting his troops while standing in a ’48 or ’49 Jeepster… It was in Newsweek Magazine in Black & White so I don’t know the color of the vehicle.

I wanted you to be aware of the WILLYS OVERLAND JEEPSTER CLUB and would like to invite you to join.

It would be great to hear from you and also use your story in our newsletter and on our website and private Facebook page!
