Alan Glanzer's Willys CJ-2A Project
Picked it up in South Dakota from my Brother. It was sitting in storage for a number of years. Started working on it thinking that it just needs minor work, but it seems as if everything is worn out or broken. The frame was out of alignment, the motor had a blown head gasket, transmission had worn out gears, and the suspension is shot. But we’re at the point in the rebuild where we can start putting parts back on it. I always wanted a jeep. My father had a CJ, pretty sure it was a CJ-2A and it was a great machine. I drove a jeep, a M151A2 in Germany for three years. This one will be painted to resemble my father’s jeep.
