Here is a picture of my 1948 CJ-2A proudly “dressed” in Hawaian lei’s in “Willys” honor at the first annual Hawaian Driveway Party. I invited all the fellas over who helped get Willy road worthy after several years in a barn. We had snacks served on the hood, and a humorous Willys quiz directed at some form of assistance from each of the participants. We lawn chaired the evening into darkness with a little Boones Farm and cigars. Willy runs great and plans are still a little uncertain regarding future cosmetic changes. At present it is just great to have Willy on the road again, indeed a testiment to how well these old Jeeps were made.
