About my truck, it is a 1948 Willys Truck. It has the original equipment other than the alternator, I did change it to 12v. I found the truck in rural MN in 2000. I was a Navy Chief on recruiting at the time so the motivation is easy to figure. I custom made the bed taking measurements from a non salvageable bed I found in a field. The truck had been sitting for the most part since 1976 when I found it. My father in law was with me and had at that time been a doing auto-body in 2000 when I called to order my first catalog from you, then man on the other end asked what I had and what I was going to do with it, after a few minutes of answering my questions he warned me that if I got the catalog I would end up spending more that it was worth. So far I think I am ok but more importantly I love it..
If you would like I can take a few of the engine and the bed boards I have planks with stainless steal in the bed and the engine is blue and gold to match the truck. I have now been in the navy for 27 years, I have done 10 deployments and a year in Iraq as an adviser to the Iraqi army helping them rebuild. I love this stuff!
