782: Dairrell Browning’s 1947 Willys CJ-2A

It is registered as a 1947 CJ2A but has a M38 or CJ-3A windshield. It was completely apart body and frame hauled home in two trailer loads. I spent many hours putting the parts back together but enjoyed most all of it. Starting by cleaning and painting the frame and undercarriage then putting the body back rebuilding the transmission and transfer case and brakes. Used mostly original parts from a very well used parts donor CJ-2A and some from Kaiser Willys. Did the upholstery in bright red vinyl myself.I am a retired surface miner and have owned several flat fenders over the years Nothing like an old Willys unless it is a Lionel train!
