121: Bernard Kalchthaler’s 1951 Willys Truck

Here are some pictures of my 1951 Willys Truck. This Willys Truck is going to share the rest of my life going fishing and taking me on trips to and fro. It needs a lot of work in the cab and parts are on the way from Kaiser Willys as I write this little note. We are both 61 years old so we have a lot in common.

  1. What a beautiful truck! Hope you have years of fun and adventures! If I saw you in this on the road, I’d be pacing you to get an eyefull (of the truck 🙂 and in a state of total admiration.

    Keep up the nice work!

  3. Great truck ! From a owner of Two Willys trucks (48 &49) , these things are fun and easy to work on.
I love mine, and it is fun looking for parts and additions. If I had room in my barn, I’d have one or two more.
My two F150 King Ranch’s stay out in the weather, but these treasures get special treatment being in the
Barn out of the weather. I bet when my fairly new F150s are rusty and fading away, that these Willys trucks will STILL be going strong.
The folks at Kaiser Willys always have good advice and reasonable
    Priced parts.

Best to all you fellow Willys owners, especially you truck guys.
My pics are under Ron Benton on the website….take a look.
