The Willys spent the first half of its life sitting in a local Fire Dept, as a utility vehicle. My brother purchased it with the intentions of restoring it. It was still runnable and showed 17,000 miles on the odometer.He was a veteran of the Second World war and was not physically able to restore it. He developed cancer and before he died he gave it to me to restore. I was unable to complete the restoration before he died. With his death my ambition to restore it died as well. I have installed the rear fenders. I have purchased some parts from Kaiser-Willys to do the work, but now have it for sale, with the same 17,000 + miles on it. It brings back too many memories to have it around.
