I have a 57 CJ Willys that needs a parking brake handle and cable. How and were does it mount? Also, is there a bracket that goes on the windshield that secures the windshield to the hood when it is down as well as securing the hood to the windshield when the hood is open? If so what is the name of the part?
Hi Dean,
The parking brake handle mounts to the left of the steering column under the dash on the 1957 CJ. There is a windshield hold down strap that we carry if it is a CJ3B (part# 2A1923) but it does not work if it is a CJ5 – in 1957 they made both CJ’s! Let us know if you have any other questions! Have a great day!

Looking for the location for the parking brake handle for a 1957 CJ-5 Willys. Also, is there an illustration? Is the cable/parts available? I have the complete assembly of the brake hub in place.
Thank you,
David
