Dave, Nice looking truck ! Does yours have the C-section frame, or the “tophat” section frame ? When you upgrade the engine and trans, are you doing anything to the front end of the frame ? I have a 1952, and want to upgrade the running gear to make it a long-trip truck, and am looking for ideas. Good luck on your build.

Still have Buick 231 v6. The frame is not a c clip. Flat metal was welded on frame were motor mounts are. Not planning on a c clip with 350.
