599: Mike Muller’s 1946 Willys CJ-2A
This is Project Pa2niA from JPFreek Magazine. I built it a few years ago and she is my work horse around my property. The trailer is an original 1948 Bantam T3-C. Both Jeep and trailer are 100% original. Dog is an American Bulldog name “Maximus”. He understands “Jeep ride” and runs to the Jeep whenever I say it.

Greetings and congratulations for leaving your “legend” a true legend by leaving it stock. I’m in my 80th year and was with my parents when they bought our 1946 CJ-2A and I still have it and drive it in nice weather in the summer and have kept it completely stock being 6 Volts, original engine and everything else. However, I did put a very old set of signal lights on it so I wouldn’t get run over here in Idaho Falls, Idaho where we retired.
My Papa was a country doctor in south Missouri in the 40’s and they didn’t even gravel the roads back then, much less pave them and he jumped at the chance to purchase a four-wheel drive vehicle.
Again, congrats on your keeping your legend a legend! Best of luck! Joe Stokes, Idaho Falls, Idaho
PS – My Mama taught me to drive in Jeep and I taught my son in it as well!
