Here’s my picture of my 1957 FC-170 Tour Jeep that served duty as a Scenic Tour Jeep in Ouray Colorado for San Juan Scenic Jeep Tours. Also included is a picture of the truck when I found it. Picture FC-06 is from 1964 when my truck was doing tours for the company in Ouray. It is at the “Oh Point” off of Engineers Pass near Silverton, CO. The three pictures of my truck restored were taken near Governors Basin and at “Drinking Cup” (#140) just outside of Ouray Colorado.
Very interesting!
I’m assuming that the power-plant & drivetrain was highly modified or non-original?
Truly an imaging vehicle! I’d like to know some of the highlights, merely for my own curiosity, due to respect for such a remarkable and highly demanding jeep.
Thanks for your contribution
