Is that a 283 or 327 small block in your CJ ? I have a 63 also and I have a 327 thats needs a home. I had it in a 84 CJ-7 but sold the jeep and kept the 327.

Do you have any pictures that show how you moved the radiator forward enough to fit the v8 in there. I am working on a 1966 cj5 with a 350 and it seems like there is not enough room to make it fit. although I know others have done it.
