Here is my 1948 Willys CJ2A–completely restored as a military version (as close as I could get). It took a total of 15 years (work, kids, other places for $$) but I finally completed the project with a lot of parts from you, 4WD, junkyards, JC Whitney, etc. I am a US Arm retiree of 30 years (including service in Vietnam). The Jeep is bumper marked with the Company I commanded in Korea in 1971-1972′ Company A, 1/23 Inf, 2d Inf Div. On the hood I used “20” for jeep classification(1/4 ton) and then my birthday–071443.
Lots of fun–but I wouldn’t do another one–but I would “watch someone else.”

Col. Jerry Cecil – You have a great Jeep. I posted a picture of me with Dad’s (Roger Williams’) CJ2A on this site. We just pulled it out of the garage after 41 years. Hope to have it running soon.
