1953 Willys Overland Truck 4WD, F4-134 engine, Timken rear differential, Rear PTO, Heater, 6 volt electrical.

To paint or not to paint, that is the question. This is basically an original 1953 Willys Overland farm use truck that my father in law got in an old barn back around 1995. Left to me when he passed in 2003. I have redone most mechanicals and done some sprucing up in the cab. The F4-134 engine was rebuilt and runs real good. The 6 volt system is intact and new wiring ensures no shorts or fires. A functional rear PTO and spot light allowed (past tense) some field work late into the night. Oh, and the purple under the hood was what I had available so I used it. 🙂

Is there any chance you could e-mail me a picture of how you mounted the oil filter canister. My brother, son in law and I are working to restore My Dad’s 51 PU. Your help would be a lot of help.
    Thanks
