I have a 1951 that I got from my grandpa before he passed that was in pieces. His goal was to put a v8 in it and thats what I’ve done with my own twist. It’s got a standard bored sbc 350, 280 comp cam, Edelbrock gear drive, Edelbrock intake, advance adapter fender well headers, aluminum radiator with electric fan, Edelbrock 650 carb, electric water pump and Micky Thompson valve covers. The trans is a t150 with a dana 20 transfercase. Dana 44 front end with warn gold series hubs, disk brakes, steel braided brake lines. Dana 44 rear disk brakes out of a Isuzu Rodeo and the fronts out of a waggy. Stretched 12″. Jeep wrangler out board springs, rears rubicon springs, shocks superlift ssr remot reservoir. I painted it myself homemade paint booth, duplicolor brilliant silver, did the body work too. Boxed frame. Corbeau moab seat, new gauges, tilt steering colum. 36″ swamper radials, boomerang shackles, full family roll cage, led headlights, led tail lights, led turn signals. Lots more work to do. Built to have fun with the wife and kids.
