On the Solex, make sure you check the fuel pressure. I found out the hard way they only like about 2-3 psi. Just thought I would give you a helpful time I learned the hard way. It worked great for a couple months then just got progressively worse.
Like the Afghan pic, I was over in 2010-2011 KAF and heading to Kuwait around Sept. Got a 51 CJ3A handed down from Grandfather who bought it in 1955 with 750 miles on it. In great shape just needs some minor improvements.
