Justin Hurtado

Our Willys came into our family in a very unique way… I won it at the Annual Game Feed Festival that takes place at Irvine Lake in Orange County, CA. Every year they have a spectacular, much sought-after, Grand Prize and 4 years ago I was the VERY ecstatic winner! I had purchased several tickets for the other prizes and had only 1 very lucky ticket for the Grand Prize Willys. 4 years later, I still haven’t quite mastered the art of driving stick, however my wife and I love showing off the Jeep proudly in our garage – it’s a great talking piece. We can enjoy taking a ride in it (when my father or one of our friends is the driver).  We have such great weather year round, and love taking her out to stretch her legs going to grab a bite to eat on sunny days. My son is 1 year old, so still a bit too young to ride with us, however he enjoys sitting in the driver’s seat to honk the horn and take pictures for mommy.
Appreciate the consideration,

  3. please take the time to learn to drive this fantastic machine, it will open up doors , adventures, and opportunities unimagined . it is best to try to learn in an open field or fairly open parking lot in low range, that way you are not having to have the other drivers impatience cause you unneeded frustration and worry. good luck and don’t give up the rewards will be endless and your child/children will be so happy to inherit a small piece of history. I only wish my father hadn’t let so many old ford tractors and the seemingly plentiful Willys slip from his grasp. please reconsider. you won’t regret it, once it’s gone it’s gone.
