This 1952 Cj3a is a former radio Jeep that served in the Belgian Army between 1952 and the late 70’s.
Purchased it last summer from the person who purchased it from the army , did a restauration and ” demilitarised” it ..
The Jeep looked well and drove well during the test ride , so I brought it home. Few days later it blowed the engine ( cracked engine block) so we had to change the engine , and as we where busy we changed the clutch , starter, waterpump etc.and also repaired the gear box as some teeth where missing on the main shaft.
Second step was doing the body and switch from an uggly sand color towards Potomac Grey .We did it body off and installed new wiring .
Today , just waiting for the new winter top and installing the PTO and the Jeep is ready for celebrating Jeep’s 75 anniversary
