Except for rebuilding the subassembly, I did everything myself. I made body panels and welded it in, I spray-painted it and even made the seat cushions myself. You will note the colour is darker than pasture green, but this green is as close as I could get it to the original colour. This Jeep was an export model and has been exported to South Africa. I bought it in Namibia and imported it to Australia. If my information is correct; they only imported 50 1946 CJ2A’s new into Australia and this might be number 51.
