This wasn’t supposed to be a fully body off restoration, but obviously that’s what it became. Who would have though back in 1961, that I could buy a vehicle, piece by piece on the internet and make it look like new. We couldn’t have done this without Kaiser Willys. There are a few hidden upgrades, like front disc brakes and a battery shut off switch, otherwise. Everything has been torn down and rebuilt and we hope it’s ready for another 56 years. Now with a grand total of 34 miles, what to do with it. Originally we purchased this Willys as a project for my son and I. But as life goes, so did the project. Time, work, school all seem to get in the way but we wanted to see it through. We hope the future plans for more together time enjoying the New, Old jeep. We named her Lucy, just sounds like a good solid 60’s name.
