Dean Atkin's 1951 Willys CJ-3A
Thank you for all the help getting the 1951 CJ-3A up and going after a 30 year rest. I found it in a farmers field in 1986 and have worked on it for a few years off and on, it set for 15 years after that. The wife wanted the oil leaks fixed or cleaned up SOOO. Thinking it was a radiator hose, ended up with all new seal oil line ect. Happy to say your parts have saved me. I got my first jeep at 15, a 1946 CJ-2A from a sheep rancher and it was well used and my dad said when you get this fixed up you’ll know if you want to be a mechanic. I’m chose not to do that but at 63 I’m still working on my number two jeep. And love to take the grand kids for a drink at the corner store.
