The frame-up body work and paint job came out just the way I wanted, the woodie details came out even better than I expected, would probably fool a termite. I had the rear fenders custom made, as most of the well was rusted badly. The hood ornament is there because I have horses. The engine is a AMC 232 and runs great. The blue gerry can is for water when camping. Everything else is stock. I will now install new oak (plywood) interior panels and the refinished cargo floor boards. In 1973, living in Missoula, I bought a 1950 Willys Wagon, had it for 4 years but ended up selling it to make some rent, regretted that need. I kept my eye out for another and, happily, in 2003 I bought this Panel Delivery while in Glacier. Only 3 owners during it’s life, we have all signed the inside of the horn button. I decided to invest in the frame up body restoration and paint when rust was winning the annual touch-up battle. All new windows and window seals too.
Nice Parkway Conversion!
