My love for Willys comes from a very young age. My dad had a red one but I didn’t know what model it was. He used it very little and sold it too early much to my sadness. I am a Sergeant Major of the Colombian Marine Infantry and for 30 years I served my country, in many units and different places. I was also as a guest instructor in Whinsec for 2 years.
While there I saw one for sale. I wanted to buy it without thinking, but the money was to buy a family vehicle while we were on that commission. Also bringing it to my country would have cost me much more, but I assure you that I fell in love with that Willys and soon after I was no longer for sale.
All the comings and goings of my military life prevented me from acquiring a Willys and being able to restore it. Now that I am retired I bought this beautiful Jeep and I am transforming it from CJ to MB, I have little to do to achieve it, I think. My wife was very excited, now not so much at the time that she dedicated to my Willys and the money that she does not reach, jjjj. I am passionate about everything that has to do with WW2. I have also collected ships, tanks and vehicles of that war at 1: 700, 1:72 and 1:32 scale and the Willys MB.
Gracias

Really cool. Thank you for your service in the army. I am happy you got to know these very cool wheels. They go anywhere.
Disfrutelo.
Tengo wiilyz en Colombia me gustaría traerlo a New York será muy dificil?
