1950 CJ3A. We purchased our 1950 CJ3A named “Elvis” in 1983 for $500 as a father-son restoration project and it has now been handed down to my boys. It is completely stock except for seat belts and a roll cage. We are very active in a Jeep club and enjoy 4-wheeling all over beautiful Arizona. We often push our Jeep to the limits on rugged trails and have no problem keeping up with modern Jeeps. This photo was taken on a trip to the Sunflower Mine located between Phoenix and Payson.
That is an awesome restoration job well done. Enjoy and keep on four wheeling. This old jeeps are just like Mountain Goats, they can climb….

Are those upper swamper tires? If so what size and how much backspacing on the rims if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks Scott
