  1. I saw your photo of your Willys jeep project. I also have a M38A1 blue in color, but its a 1955. (Air Force salvage). What color blue did you choose, or do you intend to use when you paint it?

  3. Hey Don,Iplan on painting her a nice white paint.Haven’t decided on which whie paint to choose.
    Already primered a white gray color–looks alot better!!

    Thanks for posting the photos and even more for the write up. We have two M38A1s sitting in the driveway partially revitalized. I have finally got my two hips replaced and this Spring will go back to my therapy of working on the vehicles,

    I think that, when they are done, they will need to find a home where they can roam like in the area where you live. Reminds me so much of Turlock, Ca. where I had a super Aunt and a few great friends who ranched. It might have been “old hat” for the locals, but, I used to love to get up at the crack of dawn and drive out for an hour into the countryside, past the Santa Fe lines and just breathe. I would think that it would be even more enjoyable in the Jeep. Hope to find out one day.
