Hi Dan,
For the spare tire rim I would go with the wheel in the link provided. If you have any questions you can give Mike at Kaiser a call toll free 1-888-648-4923 or email him mike@kaiserwillys.com and he will be happy to help you out! Have a great day!

The serial plate should be located on the passenger side dash just under the ‘grab bar’. If that plate is missing look for a patent plate which is located behind the passenger seat frame on the leading or forward edge of the tire well. If that guy says he’s selling an M38A1 and the year is 1941 he doesn’t know what he has. If it’s a 41 it would be an MB or GPW with a 9 slat grille. The M38A1 has rounded fenders and looks like a CJ-5. Let us know if you need help with anything else.
where would i find the serial plate on a M38A1.. this guy has a jeep for sale (only 300 ) bucks he says its a 41 but i say other wise….. any help would app thank u very much…. cant wait to start building it

It’s the second time when i’ve seen your site. I can see lots of hard work has gone in to it. It’s really wonderful.
Have a 52 M3841 Elect fuel pump not working. It has sat idle for 10 years after many hunting trips. Thinking of putting a original one on. I can”t see where it goes I think there was one when I bought it in 62 from the California Forest Service.
Thanks Robert
