Peggy Johnson and I just finished a 6240 mile round trip from St. Augustine, FL. to Imperial Beach, CA in our 1948 Willys Overland Jeepster, which except for seat belts and turn signals, is completely stock with a Go Devil 4 Cylinder engine. We left FL. on the 6th of April and arrived in CA. on the 21st. We left on the 22nd. and was back on the 29th. We traveled on the way out with 7 other Jeepsters, driving 2 lane roads. We came back by ourself except for a couple of days, when we had another Jeepster join us. All 7 Jeepsters made it to CA. under their own power. If this doesn’t warrant Jeep(ster) of the week, I don’t know what will. Thanks, Gene
