I purchased this Jeepster Commando in 1992 when my family was young. I did a complete restoration and have driven it for twenty years. We were members of the American Jeepster Club and participated in many outings. Each of the boys drove the Jeepster when they got their license. One of my sons had more passion for it than the others. He is now a flight instructor with the Air Force. Last February I shipped the Jeepster to him from Seattle to Columbus Air Force Bases in Mississippi. It is now his daily driver on the base. The old guys know what it is and always comment on it. The young guys have no idea what it is, but think its cool. It is emotionally satisfying to see my son appreciate this classic Jeepster as much as I have and I am thrilled to watch it pass to the next generation and hopefully beyond.

Hello Dan,
I love what you did to your Commando. I have a 1968 C101 that I’m restoring, want to mimic the ride height and tire size that you have on yours. Could you possibly share some info with me as to tire size and what you did to the suspension? Thanks MUCH in advance.
