This MB has been in my family since it was purchased GNU by my father at military auction. He and his Father purchased 3 of them complete with trailers. Any way to make a long story short it’s time to restore old faithful. I’ve brought it home and It’s going to be a restoration project for my 17 year old son. I’ve been searching the internet to find any info on the markings that we uncovered and I can’t seem to find any information. From my recollection of my fathers stories the Jeep came from the Philippines. I’m attaching some photos and hoping for any help. Also Looking for misc bolts and nuts from your bone yard. IE: fender bolts to grille , radiator washer and nuts and grille to frame bolts.
You might check G503.com A good jeep site. I too have a 43 MB. For the Marine Corps markings, you may have go to a Military site (WW 2) to match up emblems on your MB. A few bone (flat fender yards) are around. There is one Army Surp store here in Idaho Falls that have a lot of nuts and bolts. Also a big store in Salt lake. Randy
